Damien Rice, Parni Valjak, Alaniss Morissete in Momford and Sons ustvarjajo moje vecere, ko namesto spanca lovim besede.
Zbiram priporocila. Je se kaj takega, kar ne bi smela zamuditi? In prosim, obvestite me, ce pride kaksen nov, vsecen singl. :)
Damien Rice: Volcano
And What I am to you is not real,
What I am to you, you do not need.
What I am to you is not what you mean to me.
You give me miles and miles of mountains
And I'll ask for the sea.
Parni Valjak: Ljubavna
Moras prvo puzati, da bi znao hodati.
A kad te stvarno sve uza zid pritisne
digni glavu, ne daj se,
pjevaj pjesme ljubavne,
zaplaci, kad te nitko ne vidi.
Elvis Jackson: This Time
I can see flowers growing up from the snow, today my feeling is far from the low. I'm having a great time in the prime of a lifetime. I can see colors everywhere I turn around, this time I'm going easy don't wanna waste another day.
Alaniss Morissete: 21 Things I Want In A Lover
Do you derive joy when someone else succeeds?
Do you not play dirty when engaged in competition?
Do you have a big intellectual capacity but know that it alone does not equate to wisdom?
Do you see everything as an illusion but enjoy it even though you are not of it?
Are you both masculine and feminine, politically aware, and don't believe in capital punishment?
Do you derive joy from diving in and seeing that loving someone can actually feel like freedom?
Are you funny and self-deprecating, like adventure, and have many formed opinions?
Are you uninhibited in bed, more than three times a week, up for being experimental?
Are you athletic?
Are you thriving in a job that helps your brother?
Are you not addicted?
These are 21 things that I want in a lover,
Not necessarily needs but qualities that I prefer
Josipa Lisac: Zivim po svome
Zivim po svome jer znam,
da ipak postoji ljubav.
Zivim po svome jer znam,
da ipak postoje cuda
Momford and Sons: Winter Winds
As the winter winds litter London with lonely hearts,
Oh, the warmth in your eyes swept me into your arms.
Was it love or fear of the cold that led us through the night?
For every kiss your beauty trumped my doubt.
And my head told my heart:
"Let love grow."
But my heart told my head:
"This time no, This time no."
We'll be washed and buried one day my girl
And the time we were given will be left for the world.
The flesh that lived and loved will be eaten by plague
So let the memories be good for those who stay.
Momford and Sons: I Gave You All
How can you say that your truth is better than ours?
Shoulder to shoulder, now brother, we carry no arms
The blind man sleeps in the doorway, his home
If only I had an enemy bigger than my apathy I could have won
Momford and Sons: Awake My Soul
In these bodies we will live,
in these bodies we will die.
Where you invest your love,
you invest your life.
